Full terms for returning a used core unit and receiving your core deposit refund. Please read before packing and shipping.
Return & Core Exchange Policy
1 Eligible items
◆ Only the same type of item originally purchased from ABCspecialist is eligible under the Core Exchange Program.
◆ The used core unit must carry the same or compatible original manufacturer part number as the exchange part supplied.
◆ Replica parts or non-original manufacturer parts will not be accepted under any circumstances.
2 Return timeframe
◆ The used core unit must be returned within 6 months of the purchase date to qualify for a core deposit refund.
◆ Exceptions are permitted only when confirmed in writing by ABCspecialist in advance of the return.
3 Condition requirements
To qualify for a full core deposit refund, the used core unit must meet all four conditions:
Complete
All components present — sensors, tubes, clamps, and accessories.
Disassembled
Separated from attachments. Incorrect dismantling may result in rejection.
Undamaged
Same condition as received, no breakage beyond normal use.
Correct part number
Same or compatible OEM part number as the exchange part supplied.
The following damage results in partial refund
4 Packing & shipping instructions
Drain fluids & seal
Drain all hydraulic fluid or oil. Apply sealing plugs to all open connections.
Secure packaging
Use the original box if possible. Fill so the used core unit cannot shift in transit.
Include return form
Complete and place the deposit refund form inside the package.
Weight limit
Max 25 kg for standard shipments. Contact us for heavier items.
★ UK & non-EU customers — additional requirements Important
◆ Include all required customs documentation and a commercial invoice stating the actual value of the used core unit.
◆ Mark the shipment clearly as: "used, defective product — no commercial value."
◆ If not properly declared, any customs duties, taxes, and fees on EU entry are the customer's responsibility.

● Why does it take 3–5 weeks?
The longest wait is in steps 2–4 — transit to the depot can take up to 7 days, after which packages are batched for a weekly delivery run to our warehouse. Once your return arrives with us, inspection and deposit refund are completed within 7–14 days of approval notification. Using DPD, FedEx, or UPS helps reduce total turnaround time.
