How it works

The circular loop

Every rebuilt or remanufactured part follows the same 6-step cycle. The core never becomes waste — it becomes the next customer's trusted part.

01

OEM part manufactured

A genuine OEM component is produced and installed in a premium vehicle.

02

Wear over time

Seals, bearings, and valves degrade. The core structure remains entirely sound.

03

Used core collected

Instead of disposal, the used part becomes the foundation of the next rebuild.

04

Disassembled & restored

Full strip-down and restoration. Worn parts replaced to OEM specification.

05

Tested & dispatched

Every unit tested before it ships — worldwide from the Netherlands.

06

Back on the road

A genuine OEM rebuilt part restored to full operating condition. The loop begins again.

"The core never becomes waste. It becomes the next customer's trusted part — and the cycle begins again."

Product categories

9 categories — honest comparison

Every condition category we supply, from maximum material retention through to full new production. Categories 1–5 are our circular core. Categories 6–9 are new production — included for completeness and honest comparison.

Circular core — restored OEM parts (1–5)

1

Used Original

The complete OEM unit preserved and kept in service. No new material required — the purest form of circular reuse.

2

Refurbished

Extends the usable life of the original part and avoids immediate disposal. Minimal new material used — only the failed element is addressed.

3

Reconditioned

Retains all serviceable original components. At workshop scale, this is a meaningful cumulative contribution to reducing new production demand.

4

Rebuilt

Genuine OEM core kept in active use. Every serviceable component retained avoids the energy and raw material cost of manufacturing from new.

5

Remanufactured

The highest circular benefit of all categories. Significantly less energy than new production. OEM core kept in circulation indefinitely. Far less waste and CO₂.

New production (6–9)

6

New OEM Aftermarket

Full new production to OEM specification by a third-party manufacturer. The environmental benefit comes from correct fitment and durability — a part that lasts its full service life reduces cumulative material use. No core reuse.

7

Brand New OEM

New part meeting or exceeding all OEM engineering specifications. Same benefit as New OEM Aftermarket — durability and correct fitment reduce lifetime material consumption. No core reuse.

8

New Genuine NOS

Genuine original production, preserved unused. Reactivates an existing manufactured part rather than triggering new production — a modest benefit compared to new equivalents. NOS stock is finite.

9

Brand New Genuine

The reference standard for fit, form, and function. Supplied directly through the official OEM supply chain. Circular benefit comes solely from product longevity. The highest raw material input of all 9 categories.

Who this is for

Private owners & professional workshops

For private owners

Rebuilt or remanufactured is the best decision on every level — vehicle, budget, and environment.

You keep a genuine OEM component in active use, avoiding the cost of producing everything new.

The core you return today becomes the part the next enthusiast installs tomorrow.

Your vehicle gets the quality it deserves. One less part discarded.

For professional workshops

Parts sourcing decisions have a significant cumulative impact at workshop scale.

Choosing remanufactured and reconditioned reduces your footprint in a measurable, communicable way.

Fleet operators and clients increasingly expect responsible sourcing from their service partners.

ABCspecialist's documentation makes that straightforward to demonstrate — no extra admin.

Your part in the loop

How the core return works

Returning your used core is the most direct contribution you can make to the circular loop. It takes 3 steps — and your old part becomes someone else's trusted rebuilt unit.

Step 01

Order & install

Receive your rebuilt unit. Install it. Your vehicle is back on the road.

Step 02

Send back your core

Return your old unit using the core return process included with your order.

Step 03

Deposit refunded

Once your core is received and inspected, your deposit is refunded. The core re-enters the rebuild cycle.
