The ABC strut contains a spring and a shock absorber, just as standard struts do. The spring does the work of supporting the vehicle's weight and absorbing impacts from bumps in the road while the shock absorber keeps the spring from oscillating or "bouncing". The ABC strut goes a step further, and contains a hydraulic fluid chamber such that the height can be adjusted by adding or removing ABC fluid. This enables the ABC control module to adjust the height of each corner of the car, and it does so at the rate of 10 times per second. Please note there are many different part number numbers for each shock absorber, please consult the information on our website for a complete overview. The shock absorbers are different for the left or right side of the vehicle. Below is an overview of the remanufactured shock absorbers we have in stock.
